The Founder

Excelsior Food Provisions LLP was founded by Dzikra Rahmah, an Indonesian entrepreneur with a deep passion for sharing the goodness of tempeh with the world. After relocating to Mumbai, India, Dzikra saw an opportunity to introduce tempeh as a nutritious, sustainable, and delicious plant-based protein that aligns perfectly with Indian cuisine and dietary preferences. Recognizing the potential for tempeh in India’s evolving food landscape, she partnered with Mumbai-based entrepreneur Smit Jain to co-found the company. Their collaboration blends Dzikra’s cultural roots and expertise in tempeh with Smit’s local insight and business acumen, driving a shared vision rooted in food, culture, and sustainability.
